Description

Hobby Wood is made from plantation-grown paulownia wood. Paulownia wood is strong and durable and can be cut using a craft knife. It is a lightweight timber that has one of the highest strength-to-weight ratios of any lightweight wood. It is perfect to use for model building where greater strength is required. It can be stained or painted and offers low shrinkage and expansion. A great alternative to the current hard to get Balsa Wood due to world shortages. Stick lengths are 915mm.
